The Scotland korfball squad are proudly sporting their new kit---supplied by Radsheep Sportswear---in preparation for their trip to South Africa. The squad has been invited by the South African Korfball Federation to enter into the South Africa Regional Finals which take place from the 30th June – 6th July just outside of Pretoria. Whilst in South Africa, the squad will also be competing in a series of international matches against the South African Senior and Under 23 National teams. The squad for the tournament was selected back in February and consists of players from clubs across Edinburgh & St Andrews as well as Scottish players based outside of Scotland.
The Scotland Korfball Association was struggling to find affordable yet good quality kit for the team and fortunately, Manchester based company Rad Sheep came forward and offered to supply kit to the squad. The kit has been especially designed for the Scotland korfball team, and is made from RADiKOOL fabric. RADiKOOL is a high performance micro-fibre fabric that is engineered with Intera yarn – the only patented permanent moisture wicking and anti-bacterial technology. Garry MacLaren, the managing direct of Rad Sheep has said that: ‘ RAD SHEEP are pleased to be involved with the Scotland Korfball team by supplying them with the latest high performance kit. ‘ Hopefully, the new kit will bring the Scotland team a lot of luck in South Africa. |
